I have nothing to blog about today, but I'm going to blog anyway.
Last week I dropped the kitchen sprayer into the running garbage disposal. I didn't mean to, but I was doing 3 or 4 things at once and just dropped it. The handle broke. I got another spray head from work, and I think D put it back together yesterday.
Autumn's bathroom is painted. It looks very good. I'll have to put pictures up soon. Last weekend, I came home from work on Saturday to find our bedroom in the process of being painted...it's orange! Ok, it's the color we picked, but WOW...it's really orange lol. Not Crayola marker orange, but definitely orange. One wall is a darker orange because the second can was a slightly different tint than the first can. It looks awesome. We also rearranged. The bed is on a different wall...looks odd and I'm not sure I like it. But we're leaving it like that for awhile. Maybe it will grow on me.
D put in some shelving just outside our bdroom door...it's the media shelving for the living room. Since our bedroom is just off the living room (no hallway or anything-I suppose you could call the tiny space a 'nook') it makes sense. All of the movies and video games are on those shelves. I don't know what we will do with the audio pier that used to house the DVDs (when we had the LCD tv instead of the projector), but I'm thinking of moving it into the dining room and using it in there somehow..
The only things left are...the rest of the kitchen and the pantry, the hallway (which we're fighting about a color), the study, and our bathroom. I can't believe we're finally getting these home improvement projects out of the way!
I'm taking the train to work now...I wasn't seeing a huge difference in my gas usage just working 3 days a week, but I think now I'll start to see it. I drive into Garland, park at the train station, and take the train into Dallas. Then a bus takes me to the edge of the shopping center where I work. My coworker takes it with me as well. I filled up Monday afternoon (since I was on E and sputtering lol) and my gauge still shows FULL. Hopefully this tank of gas will last me until the end of next week (or more).
It's now 11:15a, and Autumn is dozing on the couch and Audrey is sleeping in her crib. I think the dust and everything from the construction is really causing a lot of allergy problems. Both girls are congested.
That's all...I'm tired of writing, and the 'e' button on my computer is giving me fits.
